Welcome to WhichRenewables.com, owned and operated by Which Renewable Solutions Ltd (“WRSL”, “we”, “us”, “our”).
These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of our website www.whichrenewables.com, (“Website”) subscriptions, paid services, and any digital products we provide. By accessing or using the Website, creating an account, or purchasing a subscription, you agree to be bound by these Terms. No other terms are implied by trade, custom, practice, or course of dealing.
If you do not agree, you must not use the Website or purchase our services.
We may update and change our Website from time to time to reflect changes to our products, our users’ needs and our business priorities.
We may transfer our rights and obligations under these terms to another organisation. We will always tell you in writing if this happens and we will ensure that the transfer will not affect your rights under the contract.

WhichRenewables.com is a digital hub for renewable and sustainable sector professionals in the UK & Ireland, offering:
- Company listings and professional profiles
- Showcase space for products, services, and innovations
- Advertising space
- Recruitment listings by third-party agencies
- Promotional and exclusive paid services
- Insight articles, case studies, and blogs
(the “Services”).
We do not sell products directly. Companies showcased on the platform are responsible for their own services, pricing, transactions, and quality.
2. Professional Use Only
WhichRenewables.com is intended for businesses and professionals only, including:
- Renewable energy companies
- Sustainable technology providers
- Industry consultants
- Recruiters and hiring companies
- Industry service providers
This platform is not intended for private consumers, and consumer protection laws relating to personal use may not apply.
3. Creating an Account
When creating an account, you must:
- Provide accurate and complete information
- Be authorised to represent your company
- Keep your login details confidential
- Notify us immediately if unauthorised access occurs
If you choose, or you are provided with, a user identification code, password or any other piece of information as part of our security procedures, you must treat such information as confidential. You must not disclose it to any third party.
If you know or suspect that anyone other than you knows your user identification code or password, you must promptly notify us at Support@whichrenewables.com.
We have the right to disable any user identification code or password, whether chosen by you or allocated by us, at any time, if in our reasonable opinion you have failed to comply with any of the provisions of these terms of service.
WRSL reserves the right to suspend or remove any account for violation of these Terms.
4. Subscriptions & Paid Services
Your account allows you to purchase subscription packages and exclusive paid services.
4.1 Subscription Types
Packages include, but are not limited to:
Subscription Packages
- Professional Starter Pack (3 Months / 6 Months)
- Recruitment Company Subscription Plans
hereinafter referred to as the “Subscription Package(s)”
Add on Services
- In addition, you can also add on services to your Subscription Packages these are as follows: Professional Annual Package.
- Elite Annual Package; and
- Exclusive Services (Spotlight, Showcase, Advertorials, etc.)
hereinafter referred to as the “Add On Services”
Subscription entitlements are listed on the subscription page and may be updated from time to time. Subscription Packages and Add On Services can be paid on an annual or monthly payment tenure option. Please note that all Subscription Packages and Add On Services are non-refundable. If you cancel your monthly Subscription Package during a month the Subscription Package will end at the end of the month in question. If you cancel an annual Subscription Pack the Subscription Package will terminate at the end of the year in question.
You can only pay for a Subscription Package using a debit or credit card. We accept the following cards Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, Diners Club. In Digital wallets we accept Apple Pay and Google Pay.
Except as expressly stated in these Terms, we do not give any representations, warranties or undertakings in relation to the Services. Any representation, condition or warranty which might be implied or incorporated into these Terms by statute, common law or otherwise is excluded to the fullest extent permitted by law. In particular, we will not be responsible for ensuring that the Goods are suitable for your purposes.
5. Auto-Renewal Policy
All subscription packages are set to auto-renew at the end of each billing cycle at the standard published subscription rate, unless cancelled.
5.1 Cancellation of Auto-Renewal
To cancel auto-renewal you can:
1. Email: admin@whichrenewables.com
Subject line: “Cancel Auto-Renewal”
From your registered email address
At least 48 hours before the renewal date
2. Disable the auto-renewal option which is available via a notification option shared with customers when they purchase a Subscription Package or Add On Services.
Your subscription will remain active until the end of the current paid term.
5.2 Refund Policy
- All subscription fees are non-refundable once charged, regardless of whether the annual or monthly payment option is availed of.
- Cancellation stops future charges but does not refund past payments.
- Add On Services are also non-refundable, even if unused.
6. Directory Listings & Company Information
By submitting your company information, you confirm that:
- All details are accurate and lawful;
- You have permission to use any logos, images, or media uploaded; and
- You understand WRSL does not verify or guarantee company claims.
WRSL may remove or suspend listings that:
- Contain misleading information;
- Violate laws or industry standards;
- Include inappropriate or offensive content; and
- Duplicate or spam the directory.
You remain fully responsible for your company’s content and conduct.
7. User-Generated Content (UGC)
Subscribers may upload:
- Company descriptions.
- Product or service details.
- Images, videos, or promotional media.
- Industry case studies.
- Blog contributions (Elite users);
- Job vacancy descriptions; and
- Testimonials or success stories.
By posting UGC, you grant WRSL a royalty-free, worldwide licence to display, promote, and distribute the content as part of the platform.
You confirm that:
- You own or have rights to the content;
- The content does not infringe any intellectual property rights;
- The content is lawful, accurate, and not misleading; and
- You hold all necessary permissions for images or media uploaded.
WRSL may moderate, edit, or remove content at its discretion.
Our Website may include information and materials uploaded by other users. This information and these materials have not been verified or approved by us. The views expressed by other users on our Website do not represent our views or values.
The content on our Website is provided for general information only. It is not intended to amount to advice on which you should rely. You must obtain professional or specialist advice before taking, or refraining from, any action on the basis of the content on our Website.
Although we make reasonable efforts to update the information on our Website, we make no representations, warranties or guarantees, whether express or implied, that the content on our Website is accurate, complete or up to date.

8. Recruitment Listings
WRSL provides a space for recruitment agencies and companies to showcase job vacancies.
Important conditions:
- WRSL does not store CVs or applications;
- All job applications are handled directly by the recruiting company;
- WRSL is not responsible for the hiring process, communication, or outcomes; and
- Recruiters must keep listings accurate and up to date.
Recruitment Companies may list vacancies according to their chosen subscription plan.
9. Advertising & Sponsored Content
WRSL offers advertising space and sponsored placements.
Advertisers agree that:
- All ads must comply with ASA (UK Advertising Standards Authority) regulations;
- WRSL may decline or remove ads that violate policies;
- WRSL does not guarantee click-through rates, leads, or conversions; and
- Advertisements may be labelled as “Sponsored”, “Promoted”, or “In Partnership With”.
Affiliate Links / Third-Party Links
WRSL may display:
- External links;
- Partner links;
- Affiliate links; and/or
- Third-party content.
WRSL is not responsible for:
- External website content;
- Purchases made outside our platform; and/or
- Third-party accuracy or conduct;
Users should review third-party terms before engaging.
10. Acceptable Use Policy
10.1 You agree NOT to:
- misuse our Website by knowingly introducing viruses, trojans, worms, logic bombs, harmful code or scripts, or other material that is malicious or technologically harmful, or otherwise harmfully interacting with our Website or any part of it;
- attempt to gain unauthorised access to our Website, the server on which our Website is stored or any server, computer or database connected to our Website or any other equipment or network connected with our Website;
- interfere with, damage or disrupt any software used in the provision of our Website or any equipment or network or software owned or used by any third party on which this Website relies in any way;
- attack our Website via a denial-of-service attack or a distributed denial-of-service attack. By breaching this provision, you would commit a criminal offence under the Computer Misuse Act 1990. We will report any such breach to the relevant law enforcement authorities, and we will co-operate with those authorities by disclosing your identity to them. In the event of such a breach, your right to use our Website will cease immediately;
- use the Website to harass, defame, or mislead;
- impersonate another company or individual;

Violation may result in account termination without refund.
10.2 We do not guarantee that our Website will be secure or free from bugs or viruses.
You are responsible for configuring your information technology, computer programs and platform to access our Website. You should use your own virus protection software.
You may link to our home page, provided you do so in a way that is fair and legal and does not damage our reputation or take advantage of it.
You must not establish a link in such a way as to suggest any form of association, approval or endorsement on our part where none exists.
We reserve the right to withdraw linking permission without notice.

We have the right to remove any posting you make on our Website if, in our opinion, your post does not comply with the acceptable use standards set out in this clause.

- That the platform will meet your specific expectations
Scheduled or emergency maintenance may occur.
13. Limitation of Liability
13.1 References to liability in this clause includes every kind of liability arising under or in connection with these Terms, including but not limited to liability in contract, tort (including negligence), misrepresentation, restitution or otherwise.
13.2 To the maximum extent permitted by UK law WRSL shall not liable for any loss or damage, whether in contract, tort (including negligence), breach of statutory duty, or otherwise, even if foreseeable, arising under or in connection with:
- Business losses;
- Lost profits, sales, business, revenue or contracts;
- Business interruption;
- Loss of anticipated savings;
- Loss of business opportunity, goodwill or reputational damage;
- Indirect or consequential loss or damage;
- Loss of data;
- Incorrect or misleading information posted by users;
- Use of, or inability to use our Website,
- Use of or reliance on any content displayed on our Website;
- Issues arising from third-party websites, advertisers, or recruitment companies; and
- Decisions made based on content published on the platform;
Your use of the Website is entirely at your own risk.
13.3 Nothing in these terms limits or excludes our liability for:
- death or personal injury caused by our negligence;
- fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation;
- breach of the terms implied by section 12 of the Sale of Goods Act 1979; or
- any other liability that cannot be limited or excluded by law.
13.4 Subject to clauses 13.1, 13.2 and 13.3 our total liability to you for all losses arising under or in connection with the Terms will in no circumstances exceed £1,000.
13.5 We exclude all implied conditions, warranties, representations or other terms that may apply to our Website or any content on it.
14. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify WRSL from claims, losses, damages, or legal fees arising from:
- Your uploaded content;
- Your company’s conduct;
- Inaccurate information provided;
- Misuse of our services; and
- Violation of these Terms
15. Termination
Without affecting any of our other rights, we may suspend or terminate with immediate effect by giving written notice to you for:
- Accounts that violate rules;
- Listings that contain misleading or illegal content;
- Users who misuse the platform; and
- Supply or delivery of services to you.
Termination does not entitle you to a refund of any fees paid.
16. Changes to Terms
WRSL may update these Terms from time to time.
We will notify users of material changes via:
- Email, or
- Notification on our Website
Continued use of the Website constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
17. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of England & Wales.
Any disputes shall be resolved exclusively in the courts of England & Wales.
